Jacquelin is a dedicated criminal defence lawyer who will provide a vigorous defence for you in respect of your charges to achieve the best result possible.
Prior to attending law school Jacquelin worked as a court reporter and court clerk in the Ontario Court of Justice in Oshawa. During her 4 years in this role she gained invaluable knowledge about the criminal court system and how it works.
Upon completion of law school, she articled with Kelly Greenway Bruce in Oshawa, a full service law firm and an agency office for the Federal Crown, prosecuting drug offences. During her articles she had the opportunity to assist in the prosecution and defence of numerous criminal cases, from the initial review of disclosure to trial, which gave her insight into how drug cases are prosecuted, as well as defended.
Since her call to the bar in 2016, Jacquelin has professionally represented numerous clients at trial, guilty pleas and bail hearings in respect of a variety of charges and applications to exclude evidence under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Jacquelin represents clients in Oshawa and throughout the Durham Region, Lindsay, Peterborough, Cobourg and other areas of the GTA.
She accepts a variety of payment options, including private retainers and Legal Aid.
